Christine M. (Borgeson) Lombardi, lovingly known as “Ma,” “Grammy,” and “Nina,” passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025. Born on June 13, 1943, she was the devoted wife of Louis J. Lombardi and the cherished mother of Sharon Anderson and Patricia Tibnam, wife of Jon Tibnam.
Christine’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren — Alysha Callahan, Kaylee Tibnam, Dominic Politano, Benjamin Tibnam, Joshua Politano, and Ericka Poulin — and her beloved great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Callahan, Cody Callahan Jr., Aubrey Poulin, and Ryan Woolf.
She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and the boundless love she shared with everyone around her. Christine treasured family traditions like “cookie day,” cherished her time with friends, enjoyed sunny days at Swifts Beach, and found great joy in traveling. She also found peace and creativity in crocheting and could often be found with a good book in hand — especially one by her favorite author, Stephen King.
Her gentle heart, kindness, and love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Christine’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Christine had a special love for the color purple. To honor her joyful spirit, family and friends are invited to wear purple in celebration of her life.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 9-11am at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton. Her funeral service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
