Obituary

Victor W. Zeller, 84, of Westport, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Margery J. (Connable) Zeller. They shared 58 years of marriage.

Vic was born in Virginia, MN, son of the late Wilton R. "Bud" Zeller and the late Miriam K. (Mellin) Zeller. He was the brother of the late Carmine Henricks.

Vic grew up in Austin, MN. In 1963 he graduated from Brown University with a Philosophy major. He then taught high school science in Tarsus, Turkey for 2 years. His next stop was at the University of Chicago where he attained his Master's Degree in Physics and met his future wife Margie. They moved to The Hague, Netherlands where he taught high school science for one year. He then accepted a position at Bristol Community College, Fall River as a professor of physics and astronomy for over 40 years until retirement.

His family lived in Dartmouth, MA prior to relocating to Westport in 1991. He and his wife loved to travel and made yearly trips to Bar Harbor, ME as well as trips to Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Russia, Spain, Germany, Hawaii and Alaska.

Vic was a Porsche enthusiast and had owned, worked on and sold about 50 over his lifetime. He was also very interested in UFOs and was well known in Westport for driving around in his Mazda convertible with a green alien in the passenger seat. He was a longtime member of the Rosicrucian Order AMORC and the Association for Research and Enlightenment (Edgar Cayce Group).

Survivors along with his wife include his son: Christopher V. Zeller of Fall River; his daughter: Sandra Z. Strebel and her husband Larry of Lafayette, CO; his grandson: Maxwell Strebel; along with several nieces and nephews.

Services are yet to be determined.
