Byron Glenn Wallace, 59, of Fitzgerald passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A celebration of Mr. Wallace's life will be held at a later date.
Mr. Wallace was born on November 9, 1965, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Danny Joe Wallace, Sr. and Mary Frances Wallace. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Joe Wallace, Jr. In his life, he worked as a heavy equipment operator and in construction. He loved his music and spending time with his family.
Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife, Barbara Griffin Wallace of Fitzgerald; three daughters, Jordan Taylor Wallace of Sylvester, Jessica Goff of Kentucky, and Amanda Beth Paris (Bryan) of Cleveland Tennessee; two sons, Christopher Earl Walsh (Sara) of Douglas, and David Anthony Walsh of Fitzgerald; six brothers; Ricky Watson (Donna), Scott Minton, Kevin Hartley, James Ripley (Amy), and Tim Ripley (Wendy) all of Jacksonville, Florida, Billy Ripley of Cocoa Beach, Florida; and three sisters; Sally Ann Allison (Gene), Patty Saunders both of Jacksonville Florida, and Doreen Slone (Dale) of Oklahoma; as well as several beloved grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
