Michelle Paul, 60, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on October 8th at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the beloved daughter of the late Roger Paul and Athemise Aupon. Michelle dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a home health aide, and was a devoted member of Lincoln Congregational Church.
A woman of deep faith and compassion, Michelle found joy in attending church, supporting her relatives in Haiti, volunteering at the local food pantry, watching Korean dramas, and spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her hard work, generosity, and unwavering commitment to caring for the elderly.
Michelle is survived by her loving children: her son Vladimir Mathurin of Brockton, and daughters Lizzy Jacques of Brockton, Valery Mathurin of Springfield, and Marthdaling of Dorchester. She also leaves behind three brothers: Jean Richard Jerome of Haiti, Richard Serge Jerome of New Jersey, and Rodolph Paul of Haiti; four sisters: Elise Jacob and Marise Paul of France, Nicole Paul and Lesa Aupont of Canada; as well as five cherished grandchildren , Rihanna, Nathan, Tyler , Amara, Cyrielle.
Visitation will be held at the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Thursday, October 23rd, from 6–9 PM.
Funeral services will take place at Lincoln Church Ministries, 180 Oak Street, Brockton, on Friday, October 24th, at 9 AM, followed by burial at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton
