SANFORD- Raynold Clayton Lebel, Age 75, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at Gonell Hospice Center in Scarborough, Maine.
Raynold passed due to a long-term illness. He was born in Van Buren, Maine, on December 5, 1950, the son of the late Lawrence P. Lebel and Estelle (Thibodeau) Lebel.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan (Martin) Lebel, and one son, Jeffrey Lebel. He is survived by his three sons, Travis and his wife. Lori, of Sanford, Maine; Trampus and wife, Tammy, and their two children, Chloe and Cole, of Sanford, Maine; Delano Lebel of Bangor, Maine; and one daughter, Jamie Lebel of Bangor, Maine.
He is also survived by his four sisters; Marie Mae D. Brown, Alfred, Me.: Elizabeth Bennett, Caribou, Me.; Marlene Botting, Presque Isle, Me. and Ariene Lebel, Van Buren, Me.
We are thankful to Jim Martin, his brother-in-law, for all his caring attention given to Ray during Ray's illness.
For many years, Raynold was employed as a carpenter in the Sanford area. Raynold enjoyed fishing and hunting with his children and was very proud of their accomplishments.
