Doris “Geneva” Harnage, 79, of Tifton passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at her residence, who she shared with her granddaughter, Lalla Payne. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Ms. Harnage will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Born April 28, 1946, in Tifton, Ms. Harnage was the daughter of the late James Loran Harnage and Doris Revels Harnage. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Payne and Keith Payne; one brother, Bobby Harnage; and one sister, Regina Jeanny Harnage. She was a homemaker.
Ms. Harnage is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Franklin and Barbara Payne; one daughter, Faith Payne; one sister, Ethel “Binky” Harnage; eleven grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
