WEBSTER – Jeanne L. (Harvard) Powers, 79, died Sunday, September 21, 2025 in UMass Memorial Health Care after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Edward T. Powers, Sr.; a son, Edward T. Powers Jr. and his wife Victoria of Webster; 2 grandsons, Nicolas M. Powers and Matthew R. Powers; a brother, John Harvard of Dudley; 2 sisters, Rita Grayden of Nashua, NH and Joan Burditt of Danielson, CT; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 3 brothers Henry Harvard, Jr., Frank Harvard and Joseph Harvard and by her infant sister Lucinda Harvard.
She was born on August 23, 1946 in Dudley, a daughter of Henry L. Harvard, Sr. and Agnes J. (Nierodzinski) Harvard and attended Bartlett High School.
Mrs. Powers was an associate in the parts department of Sears and Roebuck in Auburn for 25 years retiring in 2010.
She enjoyed reading, shopping and spending time with her family.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
