Baby Boy Carter Blue Hester was born and passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Baby Carter at a later date.
Baby Carter was the son of James Lamar Hester, Sr. and Caroline Nicole Lynch of Enigma. He was preceded in death by one brother, Matthew Thomas Hester; his paternal great-grandfather, James Carsey Hester; his maternal great-grandfather, Curtis Lynch; and his great-uncle, Donald Kent Golden, Jr.
In addition to his parents, he was also survived by one brother, James Lamar Hester, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Darrell and Stephanie Lynch of Jennings, Florida; his paternal grandparents, Billy and Valerie Hester of Enigma; his paternal great-grandmother, Myrtice Hester of Tifton; his maternal great-grandparents, Don and Janet Golden of Omega and Jackie Lynch of Tifton.
