Susan E. Butler, 75

Susan E. (Darrah) Butler, age 75, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, in the presence of her loving family on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Boston Medical Center in Boston. She was the beloved wife of David R. Butler, to whom she was wed for fifty-two years.
Born in Attleboro, MA on May 9, 1950, she was a loving daughter of the late Charles A. and Virginia (Ballou) Darrah.
A 1968 graduate of Mansfield High School, Susan was a dedicated homemaker to her loving family and times spent with her adoring grandchildren were always marked with heart-felt happiness. Susan also found enjoyment in reading, knitting, doing jigsaw puzzles, as well as computer games.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children, David R. Butler and his wife Tabatha Barrett of Mansfield, Michael J. Butler and his wife Carrie of Fairhaven, Lisa S. Butler and her longtime partner Mark Pelletier of Mansfield, Charlie D. Butler and his wife Liz of Norton and Stephen J. Butler of New York. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael, Ava, Alexa, Evelyn, Jordyn, Knight and Aziza. She was the dear sister of Diane Lamoureux and her husband Jean of North Attleboro and the late David Darrah and Peter Darrah. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life at the Norton VFW, 38 Summer Street, Norton on a date and time to be announced.
