Bruce K. Oldmixon, 70

Bruce K. Oldmixon, age 70, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away peacefully and comfortably, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Inglese) Oldmixon, to whom he was wed for fifty years.

Born in Attleboro, MA on August 13, 1955, he was a loving son of the late George E. and Marjorie A. (Travis) Oldmixon.

Bruce grew up in town and was a 1973 graduate of Mansfield High School. Prior to retiring, he was the proud owner and operator of the Oldmixon Painting and Wallpapering Company in Mansfield and had previously been employed at the Foxboro Co.

Bruce’s family always came first and while his sons were growing up, he was involved with their Scouting activities and mentored many other youths as a Scoutmaster for over thirty-five years. For his years of commitment to the Boy Scouts, he was the recipient of the prestigious Silver Beaver Award. Bruce also enjoyed painting his nieces and nephews’ homes, cooking for his family, especially at the holidays and will always be remembered for his ability to take on projects and fix just about anything around the house.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted sons, Kent Oldmixon and his wife Alison of North Attleboro and Matthew Oldmixon and his wife Kerri of Rehoboth. He was the proud and cherished grandfather of Trevor, Dylan, Abbie, Andrew and Sean. He was the dear brother of Alan Oldmixon and his wife Lynn of Sarasota, Florida, Donald Oldmixon and his wife Anne of Bonita Springs, Florida and Attleboro and Curtis Oldmixon of Central Fall, Rhode Island. He was the much-loved brother-in-law of Albert Inglese and his wife Claudia of North Attleboro, Bette Harpin of Mansfield and her late husband Jerry Harpin, Christine Inglese of Mansfield, Sophie Inglese of Mansfield and the late Linda Inglese. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, September 25th from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
