CHICOPEE – Camella I. “Cam” (Marini) Sebastiano, 82, of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. She Passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center in Holyoke surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Turners Falls, MA on March 10, 1943, a beloved daughter of the late William J. and June M. (Paulin) Marini. She was raised in Greenfield where she attended Holy Trinity School. She lived in Turners Falls for many years where she raised her family. Cam called Chicopee “home” for the past 30 years. Prior to retiring, she was employed by New England Orthopedics in Springfield. She was a communicant of Saint Anne Church in Chicopee and was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 36 years. During her leisure time, she enjoyed finding treasures at tag sales, reading Danielle Steele books, listening to Josh Groban music, entertaining friends and family on her back deck and adding to her collection of angels and cherubs. Above all, she loved spending time with family and friends. She leaves her loving daughter, Kimberly S. (Foley) Hawkins of Fletcher, NC, her five cherished grandchildren, Dane R. Simonetti and his wife, Jessica, Kelsey A. Govoni, Erik Govoni, Blake A. Hawkins and Emily K. Hawkins; her great granddaughter, Valentina Marie Simonetti; her sister, Cheryl Gryzwacz of Chicopee; her brother, Richard Marini and his wife, Lonnie, of Gill; and her many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her three loving children, Tina M. Dancer, John M. “Jocko” Foley and Lynne A. Govoni; her cherished granddaughter, Mikayla Lynne Govoni; and her three siblings, Donna Courchesne, William Marini and Deb Marini. Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 beginning at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. at Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield, MA 01129. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral home parking lot is located in the rear.
