Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bradley E. Hosmer, a beloved husband, father, and community leader, who passed away on September 15 2025. Brad was a longtime resident of Concord, New Hampshire, where he spent much of his life dedicated to his family, career, and service to the community.

Brad was born and raised in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. He was a distinguished alumnus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1961. He later pursued an MBA at Harvard Business School, graduating in 1966 with a focus on General Management and Marketing.

Brad’s career was marked by exceptional leadership and innovation. He began as an engineer at Eastman Kodak before serving as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps from 1962 to 1963, where he was honorably discharged. Over the years, he held significant roles, including Vice President of Branson Ultrasonics and AMF, Inc., where he led marketing and strategic planning efforts. In 1987, Brad founded Beta Consulting Group, where he completed over 300 projects for more than 70 clients, helping organizations develop strategies for profitable growth. He was also a Certified Management Consultant and wrote extensively on management and marketing, teaching at institutions such as the University of Connecticut, New Hampshire Technical Institute, and Colby-Sawyer College.

Brad’s contributions extended far beyond his professional achievements. He was deeply committed to his community, serving as a board member and president of various organizations, including the Concord Family YMCA, Community Bridges, and the Capital Regional Development Council. He was a member of Rotary International fee and contributed to many economic and social development initiatives. Brad’s adventurous spirit shone through his passions for wilderness canoeing, sailboat racing, and hockey. He was also an active cyclist and triathlete who competed in more than 65 triathlon events.

He was recognized with numerous honors, including the WPI Taylor Award for alumni service and the YMCA Lifetime Achievement Award. Brad’s dedication to others and his boundless energy left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Above all, Brad cherished his family. He married his beloved wife, Juanita, in 1966 in Princeton, New Jersey. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising three children: Amanda, Seth, and Liz, and supporting each other through 59 years of marriage.

Brad’s legacy is one of integrity, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to bettering the world around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched through his work and service.

He is survived by his wife Juanita; their daughter Amanda Hosmer and her husband Shane Piroso; their son Seth and his wife Danielle and their sons Max and Bennie; and their daughter Liz Hosmer, her husband Markos Petrocheilos, and their children Theodore and Daphne.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday September 21, 2025 from 2 to 4 pm, in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 22nd at 10:00am in the funeral home with burial to follow at 2:00pm in the State Veterans Cemetery DW Highway, Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Concord Family YMCA or Community Bridges in his honor.
