CHICOPEE – Betty Janet (Zeller) Breault, 94, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Monday, September 15, 2025. She passed into Eternal Life at the Mont Marie rehabilitation and Health Care in Holyoke surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Lynbrook, New York on July 17, 1931, a beloved daughter of the late Juial B. Zeller and Talitha M. (Stewart) Zeller. She was raised and educated in New York and moved to Chicopee in 1951 where she lived for most of her life. She was a telephone operator for the Long Island Telephone Company however, her greatest joy and vocation was raising her children and taking care of her family. She was a member of the Chicopee Senior Center. Betty enjoyed painting figurines as well as many beautiful pieces of artwork. She also enjoyed cooking and was an extraordinary baker. Most of all, she loved spending time with her beloved family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald A. “Red” Breault who was Called Home on June 1, 2010. They were married in Lynbrook, New York on November 20, 1948 and were blessed with over 61 years of happiness together. She leaves her three loving and devoted children, Judith L. Breault and her partner, Dennis Swartzel, of Chicopee, Mark R. Breault and his partner, Donna Madrid, all of Chicopee, and Barry A. Breault and his wife, Linda, of Feeding Hills; her two cherished grandchildren, Kristin Brown of Ludlow and Jason Brown and his fiancée, Jenny, of Wisconsin; her cherished great granddaughter, Hannah Goncalves of West Springfield; and her many dear nephews, nieces, friends and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Barbara J. Breault who was Called Home on November 18, 1967; her cherished grandson, Matthew Breault; her dear brother, M. Vernon Zeller and his wife, B. Irene (Murray) Zeller; and her two dear sisters, Carol Hallis and her husband, Charles, and Harriet Davis and her husband, Arthur. Her burial service will be private at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
