Lawrence Aronson
September 8, 1959 – September 13, 2025
Lawrence Aronson, his friends called him Larry, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 13, 2025, at the age of 66. Born in Sharon, Massachusetts, on September 8, 1959, Larry will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, unwavering loyalty to his family, and his deep love of sports.
Larry shared an especially close bond with his parents, Irving and Shirley Aronson. He was a devoted son, always looking out for their well-being and treasuring time spent together. After his father’s passing in 2023, Larry continued to be a source of comfort and support to his mother, with whom he remained deeply connected.
A graduate of SMU in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Larry held a variety of roles over the years, but his true passion was sports. A lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, he loved discussing lineups, analyzing stats, and celebrating big wins. Lawrence had an encyclopedic memory for games and players and brought energy to every conversation about his favorite teams.
Larry's greatest gift was his ability to make people laugh. His quick wit, dry humor, and lighthearted storytelling left lasting impressions on everyone lucky enough to know him.
He is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Aronson; his brother David Aronson, David’s wife Christy, and their children, Katie and Matthew. He was predeceased by his father, Irving Aronson, and his brother Gary Aronson in 2016. He is lovingly remembered by Gary’s wife Silvia and her daughters, Natalie and Liz. Lawrence is also survived by his sister-in-law Donna and her children: Michael and his wife Larissa, along with their sons Ryan and Luccas; and Scott and his wife Dyanna, and their sons Brandon and Bradley.
Larry will be remembered for his warmth, his loyalty to family, his love of Boston sports, and his ability to brighten a room with laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
