Obituary


Westbrook-Ann Teresa Clark, age 81, passed away on September 7, 2025, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after a long battle with kidney disease.
She was born in Portland, Me on June 27, 1944, daughter of the late Paul and
Yvonne (Blake) Ledoux.
After graduating Cathedral High School, Ann went on to join the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam war. After her tour she was honorably discharged and married her first husband Richard Small (deceased) and later married Milton Clark (deceased).
She worked for years in a factory but eventually landed at the Westbrook Hospital where she proudly served in the kitchen, later getting her degrees for and working as Dietary Supervisor in 1990 then Dietary Manager in 1991.
Ann relaxed with music and reading but she most enjoyed cross stitching beautiful
and memorable items for her family.
Ann is predeceased by her sisters Marie (Ledoux) Carroll and Linda Ledoux as well as her stepsons Terry Clark and Butch Clark.
She is survived by her sisters Jean (Ledoux) Amidon and Carol (Ledoux) Bevan, her son David Small and her daughter Carolyn (Small) Bessey and stepdaughter Donna (Clark) Lunt along with a multitude of Grandchildren Great Grandchildren and Great Great
Ann requested no viewing or funeral services. There will be a celebration of life at her apartment complex Millbrook Estates, 300 East Bridge Street in Westbrook where she lived for nearly 30 years. Details for date and time will be posted as soon as they are
In lieu of flowers Ann asked that memorial contributions be made to the non-profit Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Rt. 1, Scarborough, Maine 04074 (the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House) for their support and comfort of Ann in her final days.
We will be forever grateful to the staff and volunteers at both Maine Medical Center
and Gosnell House who were unmatched in their tireless care of Ann and her family around the clock.
