MARTINEZ – Victor “El Viejo”, age 70 of Boston, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 after a long battle with cancer accompanied by multiple health complications. Immigrating from the Dominican Republic, Victor was able to create a great life for his family with his exceptional craftsmanship as a tailor. As a Jamaica Plain businessman, he owned and operated Vimar Design for many years. Victor was a charismatic mentor and friend, always administrating a wealth of trusted advice, and offering unconditional support to those around him, making him a true pillar within the Latin community and loved by all. He enjoyed socializing, music, dancing, baseball and especially his team the Boston Red Sox. Beloved father of Paola Martinez of Boston, Elsa Martinez-Pimentel and her husband Jose Pimentel of Roslindale, Jessica Martinez and her fiancé Robert Dorsey of Boston, Victor Martinez-Diaz and his wife Natasha Martinez Mock of Dedham and Ervic Martinez of Boston. Cherished grandfather of Arabelle (8 y/o), Amira (6 y/o), Azahar (3 y/o), Amar (1 y/o) Pimentel and Franco (8 y/o), Phoenix (3 y/o), Mila (11 mos) Martinez. Also survived by several loving brothers, sisters, extended family and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 11th at Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St., JAMAICA PLAIN from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12th at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower St., JAMAICA PLAIN at 10:00 am. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, DEDHAM.
