Sharon Langer, 79, of Whitman, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025.
Born on July 16, 1946, in Stoughton, MA, Sharon was the beloved daughter of the late George and Alice Rackliffe. She spent her early years in Massachusetts and later made her home in California, Wareham, Brockton, Whitman, and finally Brockton.
Sharon began her professional journey in the banking industry before transitioning into insurance, where she built a rewarding career and many lasting friendships. Her adventurous spirit led her around the globe, and she found immense joy in traveling. Sharon also gave generously of her time, volunteering with Helping Hands whenever she could—always eager to support those in need.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Bob Langer, and is survived by their loving sons, Robert and David. Sharon’s warmth, kindness, and zest for life will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours on Sunday, September 7th from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A funeral service will be held the following day, September 8th at 10:00 am at the funeral home. A burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
