Marie Yolette Polynice (72) of Brockton died August 19th at home under hospice care surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Jean Corrielis of Brockton.
She was born in Croix-des-Bouquet, Haiti, the daughter of the late Andre Polynice and Marie Viergelie Sanon. Marie was a mathematics teacher in Haiti, residential counselor in America, and was a deaconess for the Brockton Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, helping others, and taking care of her family, and was known as a hard-working woman.
In addition to her husband Jean, she is survived by her 2 sons, Yves Corrielis and wife Syara of East Taunton, and Jean Corrielis of Brockton, her brother Jean Paulynice of Raynham, 2 sisters, Danielle Polynice and Carol Bellevue both of Brockton, 3 grandchildren, Chadwick, April, and Jordyn.
Visitation in the Brockton Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 235 Court Street, Brockton Wednesday August 27th at 8 am. Followed by Services at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street, Brockton.
