William “Bill” Kent Fife, 70, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at his residence. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Fife at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Ronny Vice officiating. Mr. Fife will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 18, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born January 23, 1955, in Canton, Ohio, Mr. Fife was the son of the late James Addison Fife and Jeanne Stettner Fife. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Aiden Pallapollato. He graduated from Hiram College in Ohio with a Bachelor’s degree and went on to own and operate his own salvage yard Speedys U Pull Automotive in Albany, a career he truly loved. A lifelong car enthusiast, Mr. Fife not only enjoyed collecting cars, but also raced them in his younger years. His passion for automobiles led him to spend many weekends at swap meets and car shows. Above all, he had a deep love for his family and a steadfast Christian faith, which guided him throughout his life. He was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church of Tifton.
Mr. Fife is survived by his wife, Heather Futrill Fife of Tifton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Alex Andrew and Grace Fife of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Jacob Kent Fife of Savannah; two daughters, Lindsey Suzanne Fife of Savannah and Madison Elizabeth Fife of Tifton; one brother, Brian Fife and Joe Pelcher of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; one sister, Patricia Schaeffer of Leetonia, Ohio; and one grandchild, Alexandria Smith.
