Priscilla (Cilla) L. Taylor, 86 of Auburn, NH died Wednesday August 6, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Priscilla was born in Derry, NH on February 7, 1939, a daughter of the late Earl F. Warren, Sr. and Mary (Hayes) Warren. She had resided in Auburn for the past 20 years, formerly living in Derry for many years.
Priscilla graduated from Pinkerton Academy in 1956. After her children entered school Priscilla returned to work. She worked for the Derry School District in food service retiring after 20 years. After retirement Priscilla and Bob traveled to many special places. She enjoyed the summers either at the beach, the lake or at her pool with her family. Priscilla, known as GG to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was always there when needed. Priscilla enjoyed taking a ride everyday in “Miss Daisy” with her son in-law Ed, whom she had a special bond with as he was her primary caretaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Jill Taylor and her fiancé Richard Graham of Center Ossipee, NH, and Jayne Gannon and her husband Edward of Auburn; one son, Robert Taylor and his wife Catherine of Derry; five grandchildren, Kira, Amy, Caitlyn, Stephanie, and Tifeni; eight great-grandchildren, Rylie, Lilly, Liam, Kensley, Anthony, Elizabeth, Adeline, and Julia; as well as several nieces and nephews. She had a special bond with her niece Jennifer and her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Robert L. Taylor in 2015, and also by her siblings, Earl F. “Bud” Warren, Jr., Rosemary Nicoll, and Shirley Nesmith.
The family is forever grateful to Charlotte, her caretaker, for the past 6 weeks for her care, compassion and companionship. We also need to mention the Manchester VNA-Hospice, Kim, Sharon, Jen and Chuck for their excellent care and compassion for mom. These special people made it possible for mom to be able to spend her days at home comfortably.
At Priscilla’s request, there are no calling hours. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday August 12, 2025 at 1:00pm in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. (The lot is located on Cogswell Avenue which is the main avenue directly behind First Parish Church.)
