Lydia Carolyn Mullis Baldree, 71, of Macon passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Navicent Health in Macon. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Gerald Mallard officiating, Mrs. Baldree will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Kenneth Moore, Tony Bruner, Andy Bruner, Drew Bruner, Samantha Bruner, Ronald Yost and Ben Wood will serve as pallbearers. Terry Bruner will serve as an honorary escort.
Born August 9, 1953, in Tift County, Mrs. Baldree was the daughter of the late Jacob Arvie Mullis and Mary Esther Hester Mullis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Shelton” Baldree; one sister, Sara Ann Hattaway; and one brother, Charles Mullis. She earned an Associate degree in college; and before retiring, she was a bookkeeper for Multi-Kare, Inc. in Tifton, where the Brooks family treated her like family. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed having dinner with her Omega Supper Club. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Baldree is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Betsy Michelle Baldree Moore and Larry Moore of Macon; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Janice Mullis and Lewis and Kim Mullis, all of Tifton and Roy Paul and Karen Mullis of Rome; one sister, Betty Sue Parkerson of Tifton; and three grandchildren, Kayla Moore, Brooklynn Moore and Kenneth Moore.
