HIRAM & North Caldwell, NJ- Richard Blakely, age 88, known as the "tree surgeon" for his tree work, passed away on Aug. 3, 2025.
Although Richard (Dick) did not live in Maine he loved it here. His lifelong friend, Jim Price, (since 5 years old) moved up here and that is what brought him up this way. He built a camp in Hiram for the family to enjoy for future generations. He worked with Jim Price doing tree work up until his 80s. The camp has been enjoyed by his kids, grandkids and great grandkids and also all the dogs we've had.
Services will be held at a later date amongst family and friends
