Jayme S. McDonough of Malden passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 27, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. He was 45 years old. Born in Melrose, he was the cherished son of Donna (Tamer) McDonough and the late William S. McDonough of Medford/Malden.

Jayme was a graduate of Medford Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1998 for Graphic Arts and Design. After graduation Jayme completed classes at Bunker Hill Community College and started working with his father at The Boston Globe. Don't tell anybody, but Jayme was our big teddy bear. He loved the WWF/WWE, rock music, playing video games, doing perfect celebrity impersonations, and spending time with his son, family, and lifelong friends.

Jayme was the devoted father of Sean McDonough of Somerville. He was the dear brother of Kristen (McDonough) Holly and her husband Richard Holly of Reading and Lauren McDonough of Malden. Jayme was the loving uncle of Anthony DeVitto and Jordan Holly. Jayme is also survived by his stepmother Tina Guckert and stepbrother Bruce Guckert.
