SPRINGFIELD – Lauren Michelle Chicoine, 40, of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, July 24, 2025. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Springfield on August 18, 1984, a beloved daughter of Jacques G. and Cheryl A. (Hayward) Chicoine of Springfield. She was raised and educated in Springfield and was a lifelong resident of the city. She was a longtime waitress at many local restaurants including Friendly's, Bickford's, and the Copperline. She enjoyed playing soccer, camping, and spending time with family and friends at Salisbury Beach. In addition to her parents, she leaves her loving sister, Renee N. Maldonado and her husband, Francisco, of Enfield, CT; her loving brother, Roger J. Chicoine and his wife, Samantha, of Wilbraham; her cherished nephews and nieces, Tyler Kimball, Logan Kimball who was also her godson, Rosalie Maldonado, Riley Chicoine, and Nora Chicoine; and her many dear uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and extended family members. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday morning, July 30, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. to conclude with a Prayer Service at 11 a.m. at the St. Pierre - Phaneuf Springfield Chapels (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107.
