Faust R. Freda, Jr., age 81, of Medford passed away on Saturday, July 19th. Raised and educated in the North End of Boston, he was the son of the late Faust R. and Tina (Ferullo) Freda. Faust served in the Army, then went on to work in government defense his whole life. He was a brilliant, soft spoken and kind man who loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren. Faust has lived in Medford for over 50 years.

Faust was the beloved husband of Geraldine “Gerry” (Gello) Freda, and the devoted father of Leslie McCusker and her late husband Jim, Anthony Orlandino and his wife Lyn, and Dana Orlandino and his wife Erin. He was the loving grandfather of Brendan, Gianna, Ava, Ella and Thea.

Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Friday, July 25th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
