Linda L. (Hallstein) Pitcock
October 15, 1947 – July 7, 2025

Linda L. (Hallstein) Pitcock, 77, of Anderson passed away on July 7, 2025 at her home following an extended illness.

She was born on October 15, 1947 in Tecumseh, Michigan to Warren and Lili (Navarre) Hallstein.

She graduated from Cowan High School. She married Donald Pitcock in Omega Christian Church on April 9, 1966.

She was a prep cook at Ponderosa for 12 years and at Cracker Barrel for 20 years.

She loved gardening and flowers. She had 9 large flower gardens and loved tending and weeding them for years. She enjoyed cooking, animals, decorating for every holiday and collecting Boyd Bears and St. Clair Glass. She liked attending all kinds of festivals and arm wrestling.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald β€œDon” Pitcock of Anderson; two daughters, Teresa (Brent Johnson) Butterfield of Pendleton and Barbara Pitcock of Anderson; a sister, Connie Dawes of West Frankfort, IL; a brother, Duane (Sara) Hallstein of Brookville, OH; four grandchildren, Heather May of Anderson, Megan (Alex) Dile of Covington, KY, Aaron (Annelle) Carter and Braxton Carter all of Anderson; three great-grandchildren plus one on the way; Hayden Jones, Amiri Peterson, and Cassius Carter; two sisters-in-law, Karen Etchison of Anderson and Patty Mundy of Elwood; a brother-in-law, Gary Musick of Greenville, TN; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Hallstein; her mother-in-law, Ruth Musick and a sister-in-law, Judi Bates.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kelly and the hospice nurses and staff of Paradigm Hospice for all of their loving care.

Funeral service will be at 2:30pm on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:30pm – 2:30pm on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
