Theodore R. Luscinski, 81 Dateline: Mansfield, MA Theodore R. Luscinski, age 81, of Mansfield, formerly of Dorchester, passed away unexpectedly, upon arrival, at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro on Saturday, July 5, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Virginia J. (Zanga) Luscinski, to whom he was wed for fifty-seven years. Born in Boston, MA on August 8, 1943, he was a loving son of the late John and Mary (Madaj) Luscinski. Ted grew up and was educated in the West Roxbury and Dorchester neighborhoods of Boston. He had made his home in Mansfield for the past two years and prior to retiring was employed for thirty-five years for the Local 33 Roofers Union in Dorchester. Ted will be greatly missed by his treasured family who loved him dearly. A true jack of all trades, he loved boating and was a life member of the Peninsula Yacht Club in Boston. Ted’s other hobbies included fishing and hunting and along with his wife enjoyed dancing and worldwide traveling, recently returning from a beautiful vacation in Aruba. While living in Dorchester, he was a communicant of Saint Margaret’s Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted son and best friend John A. Luscinski and his wife Rosemarie of Wakefield. He was the cherished and proud grandfather of Theodore J. Luscinski of Wakefield. He was the much-loved brother of Jeannette Toucette and her husband Robert of Maine, Helen Allen of Plymouth and the late Mary Braune, Robert Luscinski and John Luscinski, who recently passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. He was the dear brother-in-law of Rita Kaeding of Walpole, Rose Haasis of Florida and is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, July 11th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North main Street, Mansfield. His funeral will begin from the funeral home on Saturday, July 12th at 9:00 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield.
