Dalton Paul Phillips, 29, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Marv Williams officiating. Mr. Phillips will be laid to rest at Omega Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Jorge Reyes, Erik Phillips, Jordan Hill, Conner Hill, Benjamin Lorenzana and Jose Lorenzana will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Loranna Phillips and Paula Reyes.
Born September 27, 1995, in Tifton, Mr. Phillips was the son of Mike Hill of West Lafayette, Indiana and Amanda Phillips Reyes of Tifton. He was also the son of Jorge Reyes. In addition, his bonus moms were Leighann Hill and Beylin Reyes Duarte. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Phillips; his daughter, Madison Ester Phillips; and his maternal grandparents, Paul Phillips and Marjorie Highsmith.
Mr. Phillips served his country and retired as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army. He also served his family by being a great father and devoted all of his time to his kids. He was also a strong, loving and devoted son, brother and friend.
In his spare time, he loved to travel, which included taking trips with his kids and vacationing with family. He also enjoyed playing video games. He gave 150% to everything he did.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Phillips is survived by two sons, Sebastian Phillips and Cameron Phillips, both of Tifton; four brothers, Jordan Hill, Conner Hill and Elliott Hill, all of West Layette, Indiana and Erik Phillips of Tifton; four sisters, Loranna Phillips and Paula Reyes, both of Tifton, Kinley Hill of West Lafayette, Indiana and Jazmin Reyes of New Orleans, Louisiana; his paternal grandparents, Toby and Cathy Hill; and a special aunt and uncle, Charlotte and Benjamin Lorenzana.
