Linda D. Tropeano (MacGillivray) of Reading, formerly of Medford passed away on June 26, 2025. She was 83 years old. Linda was the beloved wife of the late Rudolph A. Tropeano and the late Amando Berlini. Born in Melrose, Linda was the cherished daughter of the late James and Eleanor S. (Jacobsen) MacGillivray.

Prior to her retirement, Linda was employed as a Legal Secretary. Linda loved to travel and has visited many countries around the globe. She enjoyed eating out at fine restaurants, loved attending family gatherings and was known as a very social person.

Linda was the dear aunt to Robert J. Piantedosi and his wife Linda and their family of Andover and Ann Marie Williams & Paul of Braintree. Great Aunt of Father Matthew Williams of Quincy and Julie Williams of Weymouth. She was the dear friend of many years to Sandra Ercolini of Stoneham and was predeceased by her beloved sister-in-law, Gina Tropeano.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 30 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, MA, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Please go directly to church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

Services will conclude with burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
