Harry C. "Buzz" Dixon
September 18, 1939-June 7, 2025

In the early morning hours of June7, 2025, Harry C. "Buzz" Dixon ran into the arms of Jesus, joining his bride of 67 years, Joan B. Dixon, who graduated a few months earlier on February 26, 2025.

Born on September 18, 1938, in Ashland, Kentucky, Buzz was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. His first love was his Lord and Savior, quickly followed by his wife and family.

Buzz leaves behind four adoring daughters: Kathy Henderson, Lori Dixon, Jodi (Jim) Hazen, Amy (Roger) Larsh; six amazing grandchildren (all of whom take after their granddaddy): Ashley Hazen, Jeremy (Kalah)Hazen, Darby (Nikki) Hazen, Derrick (Tiffany) Larsh, Garrett Henderson, Emma Henderson; and three beautiful great grandchildren: Hallie Hazen, Harper Hazen, Hunter Ryne-Dixon Hazen. The youngest made his entrance into the world on the same day Buzz "graduated". He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Evelyn Dixon and his sister, Sharon Highley.

Buzz wore many hats throughout his lifetime: paper boy, house painter, factory foreman, college student, Bible salesman, Sunday school teacher, college fundraiser. He retired as the Vice President of Advancement for Family Connection / Hope Hill Children's Home. He used each one of his roles as an opportunity to share the Gospel. Buzz gave away many Bibles inscribed with personalized notes of encouragement. As a couple, Buzz and Joan poured their faith into the lives of young couples, families, pastors, and businesspeople. They leave behind a great legacy of faith, love, and family.

There will be a private family service on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
