Bill was the “Fun” Uncle adored by his many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.  He made every party he could and danced at each one of them. His love and generosity was felt by all.

Bill loved many things. His husband, his family, his dog Kaytee, and his friends. Where ever he lived he had a beautiful garden. If you had a few hours to spend you could ask him about his genealogy searches. He was a history buff and was a wealth of knowledge about WW2.

Bill was a proud Bostonian who worked at Boston City Hall from 1980 to 2001 for the White, Flynn and Menino administrations. He held many positions from Program Assistant to Editor of the City Record, to Chief of Staff-Basic City Service Cabinet. Bill loved his work. His talents took him to Liberty Mutual Insurance where he held several leadership roles in the Sales and Marketing department. His final positions included serving as Director of Community Marketing and later as National Director of Sales, positions in which he was known for his integrity, strategic vision, and commitment to mentoring others. Bill retired in 2016 to travel the world and enjoy life with his beloved husband, friends and family.
