Obituary

Charlton: Lana J. (Bombard) Liden, 60, passed away at home on June 5, 2025 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer. She leaves two daughters- Andrea Liden and her fiance Jack Thornton of CT; Alicia Liden and her husband Jesse Nowosacki of Charlton ; her two grandchildren- Isabella Thornton and Camden Shaw; her two sisters- Lorraine Crook of PA and Lisa Courchaine of Worcester; her ex-husband Kurt Liden of Dudley and several nieces and nephews.

Lana was born in Worcester, daughter of Francis and Andrea (Dupre) Bombard. She graduated from Doherty High School and earned her medical assistant certificate at Salter School. She worked as a medical assistant at Fallon and years later as a secretary at John Magill & Associates who treated her and her youngest daughter Alicia just like family. Lana found joy in thrifting often finding hidden gems and the cutest clothing. Every summer she would hit the road for Hampton Beach which she loved so much. Her search for sea glass with her dear friend Ellie was never ending. At home you would find her floating in the pool blasting music with a drink in her hand, tending to her plants, or loving on her dog Nutmeg, and her daughters dogs, Mabel and Lucy. She will be remembered for her strength, her quirky smile and a laugh that you will never forget.

A special thank you to her sister Lisa, nephew Matthew, son-in-law Jesse, and ex-husband Kurt for being her daughter Alicia's rock during such a difficult time and for taking such great care of Lana.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. Nordgren Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lana’s memory may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215. To leave an online condolence message, please click guestbook link.
