Ronald P. Scalcione of Somerville passed away Monday, May 26, 2025. He was 83 years old. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John and Christine (Storlazzi) Scalcione.

Prior to his retirement, Ronald was employed by the Honeywell Corporation as a Research Engineer. Ronald was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards with his friends, walking and going to the gym.

Ronald was the devoted father of Demi Demakis of North Grafton and Daphney Bettouche of Milford. He was the adored grandfather of Zachary and Amira Bettouche. Ronald was the dear brother of John Scalcione and his late wife Luigina of East Boston, Clarissa Andreottola and her late husband Patrick of Medford and Robert Scalcione and his wife Ann of Nashua, NH. Ronald is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA, on Monday, June 2 from 10AM-12PM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 12PM. Relatives and friends are invited.

Services will conclude with burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, 990 Lagrange St. West Roxbury, MA.
