Roberta Francis Pierce (89) of Brockton passed away peacefully at home on May 21st surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the loving wife of Joseph Pierce.
She was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Gregory Barone and Dorothy (Hennessey) Barone. Roberta was a retired manager for the Salvation Army in Brockton. She enjoyed listening to country music, watching Western movies, general hospital and soap operas, cooking, spending time at the beach, vacationing with her family, meeting the various music icons, and spending time with her family and friends. Roberta was loved by all and touched many hearts.
Roberta is survived by her 4 daughters, Tina Tevlin of Brockton, Brenda Farland of Dartmouth, Joanne Verre of Wareham, and Kathy McGrath of Buzzards Bay, (mother of the late Raymond Tevlin, Michael Tevlin, Joseph Pierce Jr., and Carol Reynolds), her brother Robert Roberi of Brockton, her sister Georgia Davis of Florida, (sister of the late James Tevlin, Greg Barone, Richard Tevlin, Edythe Burt, and Debbie Tevlin), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton, Wednesday, May 28th from 4-8 pm.
Viewing in the Funeral Home Thursday, May 29th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, 103 N Main Street West Bridgewater at 11 am. Burial to follow in the family plot in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
