Anne Virginia (Kelly) Fencer, 86, of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025. The youngest of four daughters, she was born October 2, 1938 in Lowell, MA, to Thomas J. and Anne E. (Kavanaugh) Kelly. After graduating from Westford Academy, Anne received her BA degree from Lowell State College.
Anne was a loving and devoted wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, "Auntie", and dear friend to many. Her greatest joys were time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. She taught all who knew her the values of compassion, understanding, and generosity. A favorite pastime was reading on her deck on warm sunny days, or by the fire on cold ones. She is survived by her loving husband H. Jeffrey Fencer; daughter, Kelly Anne (Fencer) Massero and her husband Rick; son, David J. Fencer and his wife Joanna; grandchildren Brandon, Isabelle, and Victoria, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Monica Fremeau, Maria Gower, and Joan Nixon, Anne was the last of the “Kelly girls”. We take comfort in knowing she is once again reunited with them.
There are no services at this time, however, the family is planning a Celebration of Life. Notification of the date of these services will be forthcoming. The Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 814 Elm Street, Suite 300 Manchester, NH 03101-2230 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
