Grace (Rogan) DiReda, 95, of Worcester died Friday, May 16th at home surrounded by her family. She leaves her companion of 42 years, Armando Morales of Worcester; a son, James DiReda and his wife, Sheri of Sterling; a daughter, Frances DiReda of Worcester; three grandchildren, Seth Rosenfield and his wife, Karen, Todd Rosenfield and his wife, Evelyn, and Gianna DiReda; three great grandchildren, Isaac, Jordana, Nava Rosenfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, Thomas DiReda, Sr.; a son, Thomas DiReda; a grandson, Jay Rosenfield; five brothers, Jack, John, Francis, James and Michael; and three sisters, Rita, Theresa, and Margaret.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of William J. and Rose (Vandale) Rogan. Grace worked for UMASS for over 30 years in billing services. She attended St. John’s Church.
Grace will be remembered for her boundless energy, kind heart, and love of life. A true social butterfly, she brought joy and laughter to every room she entered. One of her greatest joys was dancing—her smile would light up the floor, and her enthusiasm was contagious. Grace enjoyed spending time between Massachusetts and Florida. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, friendship, and love. Grace will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her funeral is Wednesday, May 21st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. John’s Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, May 21st from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
