Sally A. Pacunas was a mother, sister, daughter, a fantastic wife, and an excellent Nana. She took on all life’s challenges with a hard head and a stubborn attitude. She fought her battle with cancer for over 2 years and we know it was her fighting spirit that got her through. She was the picture of your little old Italian grandmother. (Just don’t call her cute.) She loved her grandchildren and even lived to see a great granddaughter, Ruth Sally Richter. She loved her husband and he stayed with her until the very end. She took great pride in her family and even raised one of her grandkids like her own child.
In 2021, she lost a daughter, and it was sad for all. She has also lost a couple of her brothers in recent years. We know she was welcomed into heaven with open arms. She will be sorely missed by her husband Kenneth B. Pacunas; her son and daughter-in-law Kenneth M. and Deborah Pacunas; and her three granddaughters, Kaylee Richter, Leah Parrott, and Cassandra Pacunas.
We love you Nana XOXO and will miss you until we meet again. For now, rest easy with your daughter and brothers. You deserve it!
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 21st at 10:00am in St. Thomas Acquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry.
