Obituary

Rose (Paladino) Dangredo, 90, of Millbury died on Wednesday May 7th surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her son, Michael Dangredo and his wife, Deborah of Charlton; six grandchildren, Cecile Dangredo, Michael G. Dangredo, Nicole Dangredo, Angela DaSilva, Chris Fowler, and John Moher; four great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Fedorisky, Alysa Fedorisky, Alexa DaSilva, and Angelo Sabatalo; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, George F. Dangredo; brothers Louis Paladino, Albert Paladino, Joseph Paladino; and sisters, Jeanette Maglione, Catherine Pruitt, Margaret Lovejoy, Anna Ricci, and Elena Robertson.

She was born in Worcester, the beloved daughter of Michael and Emma (Valpicelli) Paladino. After attending Commerce High School, she married her high school sweetheart, George, and together they built a life and a loving home in Millbury. Rose began her career as an assembler at Telechron, a clock manufacturing company, before joining George in their family business in 1982, serving as the dedicated secretary of Advanced Pest Control. Rose had a deep love for travel, especially with George by her side — their adventures took them from the sunlit shores of Greece to the charming countryside of Italy, and many memorable places in between. She found great joy in exploring new cultures, trying local cuisines, and soaking in the history of the places they visited. She also enjoyed the thrill of visiting casinos, not only for the games but for the lively atmosphere and shared laughter with friends and family. Above all, Rose was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones. Family meant everything to her, and she never missed a birthday, holiday, or opportunity to gather around the table with those she held dear. Her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit created a sense of home wherever she went.

A visitation hour will take place on Thursday, May 15th from 10:00am to 11:00am in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street.
