May "Faye" Parkerson Tawzer, 80, of Tifton passed away Friday, May 9, 2025, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Marshall Kennedy officiating. Mrs. Tawzer will be laid to rest at Wayside Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Quitman Day, Josh Barnes, David Tawzer and Tony Tawzer will serve as pallbearers.
Born March 15, 1945, in Tifton, Mrs. Tawzer was the daughter of the late Maddie Lou Parkerson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bonny “Fred” Tawzer. Before retiring, she was a hairdresser; and she was a member of Corinth Freewill Baptist Church in Brookfield.
Mrs. Tawzer is survived by one son, Ricky Tawzer of Leesburg; one daughter, Denise Day of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Brenda Parkerson of Enigma; four grandchildren, Richard Anthony
Tawzer, David Kyle Tawzer, Thomas Quitman Day and Joshua Michael Barnes; and one great-grandson, Beau Tawzer.
