Sebastian J. Mazzola of Boca Raton, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Florida on May 3rd. He was 82. Raised in Medford and Stoneham, Sebastian was the son of the late Joseph and Phyllis (Giarusso) Mazzola.

Sebastian was a hardworking man and a successful business proprietor, both early and later in life. As a young man, he ran the Stoneham Autobody and Service Company for many years and from 1979 to 1982 he was a charter member of the Statewide Towing Association. He took a few years off from the day to day of running a company to live with his late wife Jacqline in England from 2016 to 2022.
After her passing, Sebastian moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where he founded the Global Heavy Equipment Appraisal Service. Sebastian loved living in Florida and enjoyed fishing there, especially deep sea fishing for tuna. While in Florida he also got involved in the stock car circuit, owning his own car in it.

The beloved husband of the late Jacqline (Cowan) Mazzola, who passed away in 2021, Sebastian was a devoted father to Joseph Mazzola, Stephen Mazzola, and Christina Svendsen and her husband Robert. He was a loving grandfather to his eight grandchildren and a loving great grandfather to his great grandchild. Sebastian was a dear brother to Philip J. Mazzola and his wife Roberta, and Ann Marie Carlson and her late husband Craig.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Wednesday, May 14 from 11 AM-1 PM, followed by a prayer service at 1 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
