Obituary

Raymond “Ray” Hubert, 43, of Warren passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 2nd at home. He leaves his loving son, Gage Hubert of Warren; a sister, Rebbecca Koskie and her husband, Nicholas of Winchendon; a brother, Robert L. Hubert, III of Indiana; step father, Brian Clifford of Winchendon; co-parenting partner and mother of his child, Bobbi-Jo Alexander of Spencer; adopted grandfather, Bob King of Florida; two step daughters, Tia Moran and Mattie Alexander; two step brothers, Brian Gomez and James Clifford of Hull; 5 grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert L. Hubert, II and Star Clifford.

Born and raised in Worcester, Ray Hubert was a proud graduate of North High School. From a young age, he demonstrated a strong work ethic and a deep commitment to family. At just 16, he owned and operated Hubert Painting, where he quickly became known for his dedication, skill, and reliability. Over the next 23 years, Ray helped grow the business, building lasting relationships with clients and earning a reputation as someone who could always be counted on to do the job right.
Ray’s passion for his work was evident, but his true pride and joy in life was his son, Gage. Being a father meant everything to him. He embraced the role wholeheartedly, always striving to be present, supportive, and loving. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines, helping with school projects, or just spending quiet time together, Ray cherished every moment with his son. His devotion to Gage was unwavering, and those who knew him best saw the pure happiness fatherhood brought him.
Ray's life was a testament to the power of love, commitment, and perseverance. Though his time was far too short, the legacy he left behind the business he created, the lives he touched, and most importantly, in his son—will endure.

His calling hours will be held on Monday, May 12th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. There are no funeral services. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
