Marion Sharp Clements of Charlotte, NC and formerly of Wilmington, MA, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, at the age of 93.

Marion was born in Cambridge, MA on August 21, 1931. Marion was a graduate of Wilmington High School class of 1950. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald D. Clements. High school sweethearts Marion and Ron were married on October 2, 1953 in Naples, Italy. Together, they shared 61 years of marriage and raised two girls. Marion supported her husband`s educational goals by working at Kemper Insurance Company in Boston during the beginning years of their marriage. When with her friends and family, she enjoyed a good game of cards along with other activities including golf, skiing, boating, and gardening. Marion also loved knitting, crocheting, and completing beautiful crafts in her spare time. She was a proud member of Spindle City Garden Club of Lowell, MA. Because of Marion`s strong fascination with creating and wearing beautiful jewelry, she enthusiastically worked in the jewelry department of Bon Marche in Lowell later in life.

Marion is survived by her daughter Corinne Warner, her son in law Craig Warner, and her loving grandchildren, Charlene Oldfield, Carlisa Wu and Austin Birrille. She has two great grandchildren, Charlie and Brooks Oldfield.

She was the daughter of the late Norman R. and Mary E. (Doherty) Sharp. Marion is predeceased by her daughter Karen Birrelle, her sister Dorothy G. Clements, and brothers Norman R. Sharp and Donald F. Sharp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Avenue, Suite 1100 N, Bethesda, MD 20814.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service which will be conducted at Wildwood Cemetery, 100 Wildwood Street, Wilmington, on Saturday, June 14th, at 11:30 a.m. Funeral attendants will be available for direction to the gravesite.
