Lens Arthur Joseph was born on August 8, 2019, in Arcahaie, Haiti to his beloved mother Wilnese Moise and Esaie Joseph. Lens resided in Hyde Park, MA after his arrival in the USA in August 2023. Lens passed away tragically due to an accident on April 28,2025. Lens lived with his father, uncle, grandmother, aunt and cousin. Lens also called “Lenso” by his grandmother Andrea Edmond or “Maestro” by his uncle, Ricardo Joseph was a scholar at Up Academy Dorchester finishing his Kindergarten 2 year at the school. When his teachers and family speak about him, they all described him as an intelligent, vibrant, and funny kid. Him, himself would remind his dad with his favorite saying,” You know I’m a smart guy!” of how intelligent he was. Lens showed a promising future, he was a typical 5-year-old boy that loved cars, planes and his favorite superhero, Spiderman. It all made sense that he would admire Spiderman as he inspired to fight crime in the future by becoming a police officer when he grew up. He was the life of the house always helping his grandmother, asking if she was thirsty, making his uncle talk for hours about school and what he learned that day, or being a consistent shadow to his cousin Miyah at school and in the house. Lens was the eldest child for his father, the youngest child for his mother but the only son for both. He leaves behind his 2 sisters, Wid-Kiarinah and Soumeika. He leaves behind a large family including both sets of grandparents, mom, dad and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. Lens is a life gone way too soon , and will be missed by everyone. Please keep the family in prayer as they mourn Len’s precious life.
