Thomas R. Bourassa (68) of Londonderry, NH passed away on April 24th ending his short battle with cancer. Born in Methuen, MA on May 7, 1956, but raised in Lawrence, MA he attended St. Annes Grammer School class of 1970 and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1974.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Tom’s kindness and humor (to the end) touched all who had the pleasure to know him. The memories for his love of Boston sports, classic cars and music, his kind heart and friendly spirit will live on in the lives of those he cherished most.
Members of his family include, Lucie (St. Pierre) his wife of 39 and half years; sons, Steven and TJ; granddaughters, Juliana and Riley; sister, Denise (Hoegen); brother-in laws, Micheal Hoegen and Michel St. Pierre; sister-in-laws, Carmel (Roy) and Micheline St. Pierre; nieces and nephews, Amanda and Andrew Hoegen, and Eric and Evan St. Pierre. Parents Arthur and Anita (Ouellette) Bourassa are predeceased.
His family is deeply grateful to the Elliot Hospital Fitch Unit for their dedicated care, compassion, and support.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian will be celebrated at St. Marks the Evangelist Church, 1 South Road, Londonderry on Friday, May 2nd at 10:30am. In lieu of flower donations, please donate in Thomas’s name to your favorite charity. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
