Marguerite M. Lamy
Allenstown- Marguerite M. Lamy, 94, died July 30, 2006 at her place of residence following a period of declining health.
She was born in Quebec Canada on August 20, 1911, the daughter of Alphonse and Valerie (Lessard) Thompson.
Prior to her retirement she was a warp tender at Waumbec Mills for 35 years.
She was the wife of Ephrem J. Lamy who died February 21, 1991.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching sports, especially fishing, boxing, and baseball. She also loved cats.
Family members include her goddaughter Mrs. Gerald (Lucille) Verville of Allenstown, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces,and one great grand niece.
Services: calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 676 Montgomery St.,Manchester.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 am in Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Alsace and Kelley St,. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Concord Hospice House 250 Pleasant St. Concord NH 03301.
