Giuseppe Ficara, of Medford, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15th. He was 89. Born and raised in Canicattini, Bagni, Sicily, Italy. He was the cherished son of the late Sebastiano and Maria (Gionfriddo) Ficara. Giuseppe loved spending time with his loving family and tending to his garden.

Giuseppe was the beloved husband of 70 years to Lucia (Motta) Ficara. He was the devoted father of Nuccio Ficara and his wife Charlotte, Santo Ficara, Roberto Ficara and his wife Colleen, and Paolo Ficara. He was the loving Nonno of Joey, Lucia, Joanna, Anthony, Paolo, Casandra, Michael and Alex. He was the Great Nonno of Giana, Livia, Javon, Charlie, Aria, Abby, Anthony, Angelina, Elaina, Austin and Isabella. He was the dear brother of Emanule Ficara. Giuseppe is also survived by many loving family members.

Honoring the wishes of Giuseppe’s family, all services will be held privately.
