Anne Marie Paquette

SEBRING, FL - Anne Marie Paquette, 84, a resident of Sebring, Florida since 2016 and a former longtime resident of Britton Street and the Doverbrook Estates, both in Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, August 19, 2023. She passed into Eternal Life at the Somers Hospice House in Sebring, Florida surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on March 11, 1939, the beloved daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Eva S. (St. Lawrence) Paquette. She was raised in the Fairview section of Chicopee and graduated from the former Saint Jerome High School in Holyoke in 1956. Anne Marie furthered her education and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Western New England College in Springfield. She was employed for 32 years at the Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Company in Springfield and retired in 1997 as a Director for Client Services. Active in her Catholic faith, Anne Marie was a devoted communicant of Saint Anne Church in Chicopee where she served her parish as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Spiritual Life Commission, the Saint Anne Sodality Guild and the Marie Riviere Associates. She leaves her six cherished nieces, Deborah Murn and her husband, William, Roxanne Hinshaw and her husband, Gerald, Christie Burton and her husband, Steve, Helen Paquette, Sharon Zitzelsberger and her husband, Michael, and Julie Adams; and her many cherished grandnephews and grandnieces, extended family members and numerous friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving brother, Lawrence A. Paquette. Her family will receive friends on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the St. Pierre - Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will follow the Mass at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA 01075.
