Nina “Bitsy” Paige, 65, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, July 10, 2023, at Abundant Life Pentecostal Worship Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Ricky Kellum officiating. Interment will follow in Irwinville Cemetery, Irwinville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
Mrs. Paige was born July 16, 1957, in Birmingham, Alabama. She lived in Fitzgerald most all of her life and worked for the Housing Authority for over 30 years. She lived for her grandchildren and was always glad for the family to gather and play Phase 10. She loved the Lord and was a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Worship Center.
She is survived by her husband, Phil Paige of Fitzgerald; son, John & Tammy Chambers of Fitzgerald; daughter, Terri Paige of Albany; grandchildren: Logan Chambers, Keeli Wells, Corey Ludington, and Cody Ludington; and siblings: Melba Brown of Ashburn, Deborah & Royce Pippin of Enigma, Dale Blackmon of Orlando, Florida, and Tootsie & Chino Torres of Arcadia, Florida. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Osborne Singletary; two brothers: Herbert Monroe Smith and John Franklin Smith, Jr.; and an infant sister, Shirley Juanita Blackmon.
