Judith C. (Pocai) Parker, age 77, passed away on May 30, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 26, 1945 in Springfield, daughter of the late James and Jennie (Cardaropoli) Pocai. Judith worked as a mail clerk for the United States Post Office for many years before she retired. She is predeceased by her son Paul Pickett and one brother, Nicholas Pocai. She is survived by her loving daughter Laura Rhoades and her husband David of Windsor, CT; four brothers, James Pocai and his wife Ellen of New Mexico, Jack Pocai of Southwick, Robert Pocai and his wife Karen of FL and Neil Pocai of Chicopee; two sisters, Sandra LaRochelle and her husband Joseph of FL, Susan Giller and her husband Daniel of Cromwell, CT; one beloved granddaughter, Morgan Rhoades along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends who will miss her dearly. Judith loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her loving and beautiful granddaughter whom she cherished deeply and her brother Neil, whom she had a special bond with and enjoyed many long talks with. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 4:00 -7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM in Mary Mother of Hope Church, 840 Page Blvd, Springfield, MA followed by burial in St Michael’s Cemetery, Springfield.
