SOMERSET…Robert A. “Bob” Langlais, 55, of Somerset, unexpectedly passed away April 5, 2023, at home.
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Albert O. Sr. and Jeanne A. (Longchamps) Langlais. He had lived most of his life in Somerset.
Bob was a graduate of Somerset High School and New England Tech. He went on to work as an electrician, most recently for PRS Electric Inc. He was an avid guitar player, loved rock & roll, especially Kiss, and was a member of several bands over the years. His prized possession was his extensive guitar collection. When not playing, he could be found attending concerts and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his sisters: Susan J. Willen and her husband Tom of Florida, Janine M. Plante of Swansea and Denise A. Medeiros and her husband Stephen of Assonet; his brother, Albert O. Langlais, Jr. and his companion Sue Thompson of Maryland; his sister-in-law, Christine Langlais of South Carolina, along with many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Paul E. Langlais and brother-in-law of the late Joseph Plante.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1 - 4 pm at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA 02723.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Bob’s niece, Grace, to benefit the Boston Children's Hospital Cardiac ICU.
